Kremlin publishes list of energy infrastructure facilities that cannot be hit. It is allegedly agreed with US
On the evening of March 25, the Kremlin published a list of energy infrastructure facilities that are prohibited from being hit as part of a 30-day ceasefire in the sky. It is alleged that the list was agreed with the US.
This is evidenced by a message on the kremlin website.
The following energy infrastructure facilities are listed:
- Oil refineries.
- Oil, gas pipelines and storage facilities, including pumping stations.
- Infrastructure that generates and transmits electricity, including power plants, substations, transformers and switchgear.
- Nuclear power plants.
- Hydroelectric dams.

The kremlin added that the moratorium on strikes on energy facilities is supposedly valid for 30 days, and it supposedly came into force on March 18.
It is claimed that the truce on strikes on the above-mentioned facilities can be extended by mutual agreement.
It is emphasized that in the event of a violation of the ceasefire, the parties may have the right to consider themselves free from obligations to comply with the moratorium.
It should be noted that the kremlin stated that the list of energy infrastructure facilities was allegedly agreed with the United States. This is likely a matter of negotiations between the American and russian delegations in Saudi Arabia, which took place on March 24.
At the time of publication of the news, the White House had not confirmed this list.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on March 25, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that russia would receive a strong response if it violated the agreements to stop strikes on energy facilities.
Recall that the day before, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov said that during negotiations in Saudi Arabia, Ukraine, the United States, and russia agreed to implement a ban on strikes on energy infrastructure.
