Ukrzaliznytsia brings additional cashiers amid cyberattack on its services
Ukrzaliznytsia has stepped up shifts at its ticket offices to ensure that waiting times in line are no longer than 15 minutes.
This is announced in a statement by Ukrzaliznytsia.
In Kyiv, there are currently twice as many ticket offices at the station as usual.
"Station employees are constantly monitoring the queues. Currently, they are no longer than for morning coffee, the wait is about 15 minutes. If you need to buy tickets today, we recommend that you visit the ticket office at lunchtime," the company said.
They also showed queues at stations in various Ukrainian cities.
Recall that the failure of Ukrzaliznytsia's systems, which occurred on March 23, was caused by a large-scale cyberattack. Online ticket sales remain unavailable, during this day the company is preparing to work offline.
On March 23, due to a technical failure in the IT system of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia, online services stopped working.
