One killed, other lost his legs. Two teenagers are to blame for terrorist attack in Ivano-Frankivsk

A 15-year-old and 17-year-old residents of Ivano-Frankivsk planned a series of terrorist attacks in the city on behalf of russian special services. However, during a mission from the russian federation on March 11, one of the boys was killed, and the other lost his legs.

This is reported by the National Police.

"On the evening of March 11, while transporting an explosive device to one of the targets, it was remotely activated. As a result, a 17-year-old suspect died on the spot. A 15-year-old accomplice was seriously injured. He was hospitalized. Thus, russian special services tried to eliminate all the perpetrators," the report says.

The blast wave injured two more passers-by who were nearby. They are a 20-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman. They were also taken to the hospital.

A few minutes later, another explosive device, which was in the rented apartment of the suspects, also detonated. A fire broke out.

According to the investigation, two young men found a job advertisement on the Telegram channel. On the instructions of the "employer" in the rented apartment, they made explosive devices and were supposed to plant them in a designated place. For this work, the recruiters promised the suspects USD 1,700.

Currently, a report of suspicion is being prepared for the 15-year-old suspect under Part 5 of Article 27, Part 3 of Article 258 (accomplice in committing a terrorist act that resulted in the death of a person) and Part 2 of Article 263-1 (illegal manufacture of explosives and explosive devices by prior conspiracy by a group of persons) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
