General Staff confirms strike on Syzran oil refinery, two more important russian facilities were also hit

On the night of March 4, the Forces of Unmanned Systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, struck a number of important facilities of the russian aggressor state - the oil pumping infrastructure was hit, as well as the Syzran oil refinery. In addition, explosions were heard in the area of ​​the Sokhranovsky linear production department of the main gas pipelines.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"The Forces of Unmanned Systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, on the night of March 4, 2025, struck a number of important facilities of the russian aggressor," the message says.

In particular, in the Rostov Oblast of the russian federation, the oil pumping infrastructure of the occupiers, involved in supplying the army of the invaders, was hit. Powerful explosions and a fire were recorded on the territory of the target.

There were also hits on the production facilities of the Syzran oil refinery in the Samara Oblast. The enemy actively countered with electronic warfare and air defense. A fire was recorded at the enterprise.

In addition, there is information about powerful explosions in the area of ​​the Sokhranovsky linear production department of main gas pipelines in the Rostov Oblast of the russian federation.

It is noted that detailed information on the consequences of the destruction of the facilities is currently being clarified.

"The Defense Forces continue to take all measures to undermine the military-economic potential of the russian occupiers and force the russian federation to stop its armed aggression against Ukraine," the General Staff emphasized.

As Ukrainian News Agency reported, earlier, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council, Andrii Kovalenko, reported that the Syzran oil refinery in the Samara Oblast of the aggressor state of russia was attacked.

The governor of the Samara Oblast, Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, stated that "one of the Syzran industrial enterprises was attacked by enemy UAVs."
