Russia seeks to disrupt any peace process – NSDC Center for Countering Disinformation head Kovalenko

The aggressor country russia is trying to undermine any process of Ukraine towards peace by continuing information attacks.

The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), Andriy Kovalenko, reported this on his Telegram channel on Tuesday, February 25.

Kovalenko noted that the topics of mobilization, peace and war remain the main ones for russian speculation. According to him, for this purpose the enemy launches and distributes relevant content on social networks.

"The Russians plan to undermine any process of moving towards peace not only with attacks on the front and from the air, which do not stop, but also with information. The key task of the Russians now is to sow informational divisions," wrote Kovalenko.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on December 29, 2024, Kovalenko stated that the aggressor country russia is demonstrating that it does not want to end the war against Ukraine even in theory.

On January 27, Kovalenko said that there will be many more materials in foreign media with the dates of the end of the war.

On January 31, Kovalenko noted that information about russia developing a new Iskander missile, which flies 1,000 km, is not true.
