3 years in war. Over 1,500 air alerts sounded in Kyiv and over 57,000 babies born

Over the three years of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the aggressor country of russia, the air alert sounded 1,539 times. 210 residents of the capital were killed from russian shelling, including 11 children.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported this on Facebook on Monday, February 24.

The Kyiv Mayor summed up the results of the attacks on the capital over the past three years.

Klitschko noted that the Kyiv Rescue Service went out 220 times to eliminate the consequences of missile attacks on the capital, and ambulance crews - 2,729 times. 1,324 wounded, including 101 children, received assistance.

"210 civilians were killed in the capital, including 11 children. Today, almost 422,700 internally displaced persons are registered in Kyiv, including about 68,000 children," Klitschko said.

The subway simultaneously received about 70,000 Kyiv residents during air alerts in the capital as shelter.

Over the past three years, 57,606 babies have been born in Kyiv: 29,633 boys and 27,973 girls. Among the newborns, there were 1,021 twins and 8 triplets.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on February 24, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that 2025 should be the year of the beginning of real, reliable peace for the state.
