US Vice President says Ukraine has no chance for victory
US Vice President J.D. Vance believes that Ukraine cannot defeat russia because the russians have a numerical advantage, and the European Union supposedly has no more weapons.
He wrote about this on the social network X.
Vance repeated Donald Trump's statement that the war would not have started if he had been in power.
"For three years, President Trump and I have made two simple arguments: first, the war would not have started if President Trump had been in office; second, that neither Europe, nor the Biden administration, nor the Ukrainians had a path to victory. This was true three years ago, it was true two years ago, it was true last year, and it is true today," Vance said.
In his opinion, another aid package for Ukraine could help, the russians have a "huge numerical advantage" in manpower and weapons, and this advantage will remain "regardless of further aid packages from the West."
Vance also does not like the domestic policy of European countries "on migration and censorship." It allegedly "offends" the feelings of most Americans. He emphasized that "the United States retains significant leverage over both sides of the conflict."
"Calling any recognition that America's interests should take into account the realities of the conflict "appeasement" is lazy and disconnected from historical context nonsense," the American Vice President added.
Recall, Congressman Don Bacon (Republican Party) said that President Donald Trump "made a mistake" by calling President Volodymyr Zelenskyy "a dictator without elections." The Congressman also said that Trump's words do not reflect the views of the entire Republican Party.
Trump previously stated that elections should be held in Ukraine because Volodymyr Zelenskyy allegedly has a very low level of support among citizens.
He also effectively accused Zelenskyy of russia's attack on Ukraine.
