Last branch of Nova Poshta in Pokrovsk closing
Due to the deterioration of security conditions in Pokrovsk, the last branch of Nova Poshta is closing.
This was announced on Facebook by Nova Poshta co-founder Volodymyr Popereshniuk, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The message states that on February 18, the last branch of Nova Poshta No. 3 is closing, which over the past two months has transformed from a post office into a point of invincibility, and the employees of the branch there have become a support for people who remained in the city.
This branch issued and received parcels, people could warm up here, connect to the Internet, charge their phones and withdraw cash.
Popereshniuk added that by 2022, ten branches were operating in Pokrovsk.
In December last year, there were still two left, where 13 employees worked.
But in January, one of them was closed, and people were evacuated to safer cities and have already been given other jobs in our company.
“We are the last company left in Pokrovsk. And we are the last company to leave it. And the first to return when it becomes safe,” Popereshniuk wrote.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on February 17, 139 combat clashes took place at the front, with the enemy attacking most in the Pokrovsk (55 clashes) and Novopavlivsk (23 clashes) Axes.
