Lavrov and putin's advisor Ushakov fly to Saudi Arabia to meet with US officials — Peskov
The foreign minister of the aggressor country russia, Sergei Lavrov, and the russian dictator's aide Yuri Ushakov allegedly flew to Saudi Arabia to meet with U.S. officials and discuss the war against Ukraine.
The dictator's press secretary Dmitry Peskov has stated this, his words are quoted by russian media.
According to Peskov, Lavrov and Ushakov are flying to Riyadh on behalf of the russian dictator.
In Saudi Arabia, they will meet with representatives of the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump.
"Among the topics are possible negotiations on Ukraine, organizing a meeting between Putin and Trump, and the restoration of the entire complex of Russian-American relations," Peskov said.
Recall that in early February, Reuters wrote, citing sources, that dictator vladimir putin is considering Saudi Arabia or the United Arab Emirates as possible venues for talks with the United States on Ukraine.
And on February 14, U.S. President Trump said that a meeting of representatives of Ukraine and russia would be held in Saudi Arabia to discuss the cessation of hostilities.

And today, February 17, SkyNews reported that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will visit Saudi Arabia, but does not plan to meet with the russians.
