Representatives of Ukraine and russia to be present at Munich Security Conference — Trump
High-ranking officials of Ukraine and the aggressor country of russia will be present on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference (February 14-16).
According to Yevropeiska Pravda, U.S. President Donald Trump told this to reporters in the Oval Office of the White House.
"There will be a meeting in Munich tomorrow. Russia will be there with our people. Ukraine is also invited, by the way," Trump told reporters.
He added that high-ranking officials from Ukraine and russia will be present at the conference.
At the same time, Trump did not specify whether this means that Ukrainian and russian officials can hold a meeting for any negotiations.
Recall, speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump confirmed that Ukraine will get a seat at the negotiating table with russia on a possible ceasefire.
Earlier, on February 13, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Trump's talks with russian dictator vladimir putin cannot begin without a united position of Ukraine, the European Union, and the United States.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Euronews claims, citing sources, that Zelenskyy will meet with the U.S. Secretary of State and Vice President at the Munich Conference.
And Trump's special envoy for russia and Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, said on February 5 that he will discuss ending the war at the Munich Security Conference.
