AFU show evidence of deliberate shelling of nursing home in Sudzha by russians
Russian terrorist forces carried out an air strike on a nursing home in the city of Sudzha, Kursk Oblast of the russian federation, knowing that only civilians were staying there.
The speaker of the commandant's office of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Sudzha, Oleksii Dmytrashkivskyi, has reported this. The corresponding video was published by the YouTube channel "Territorial Defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine | Territorial Defense Media".
Dmytrashkivskyi showed video recordings of communication with the commander of the Akhmat unit of the army of the aggressor country russia, Apti Alaudinov, to whom he repeatedly spoke about the need to evacuate civilians from Sudzha. The speaker of the commandant's office of the Armed Forces of Ukraine offered options for transporting people to a safe area, but Alaudinov first promised, and then spoke about the difficulties.
"We are aware that the civilian population is in that nursing home. We already knew about it, that they were taken there. There was a report about it a month and a half ago," the russian general said.
On January 31, Alaudinov stressed that he "can control that something is not being bombed somewhere." When asked by Dmytrashkivskyi why the russians have been shelling the nursing home for two days, Alaudinov said that he "is not striking at the nursing home," while other units of the russian army are doing it from the other side. Already on February 1, the russians struck a boarding school in Sudzha, where about 90 civilians of the city were staying.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on February 1, the army of the aggressor country russia struck a building of a nursing home in Sudzha, Kursk Oblast, which has been controlled by the Ukrainian Defense Forces since August 2024. The building was destroyed, and about 100 people were trapped under the rubble.
On February 2, russian occupiers shelled Sudzha, preventing people from being freed from the rubble of the nursing home.
On February 2, Ukrainian military personnel showed the trajectory of a russian munition that was fired from a russian army plane.
