Poultry meat exports increased by 6% to 447,000 tons in 2024

In 2024, according to customs statistics, Ukraine increased poultry meat exports by 6.3% to 446,600 tons compared to 2023 (419,900 tons in 2023).

This is stated in a message from the Union of Poultry Breeders in Ukraine Association, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

At the same time, in monetary terms, exports increased by 21% due to the growth of prices in foreign markets, an increase in the average selling price due to changes in the range of products exported.

In December, poultry meat exports amounted to 37,800 tons.

The largest importers of poultry meat from Ukraine in 2024 were the Netherlands (16.8%), Saudi Arabia (13.4%), Slovakia (7.5%) and Iraq (7.9%).

The share of exports from EU countries in total exports was 30.5% (136,200 tons).

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2024, according to preliminary data, Ukraine exported 129.2 million tons of goods worth USD 41.043 billion, which is 13.4% more in monetary terms and 28.8% more in weight than last year (in 2023, 100.3 million tons were exported for USD 36.1 billion).
