If there are no serious negotiations by summer, dangerous processes will be launched - media with reference to Budanov

The head of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, Kyrylo Budanov, stated at a closed meeting in the Verkhovna Rada that negotiations on the settlement of the war must begin by the summer, otherwise "processes very dangerous for the existence of Ukraine" may be launched.

This was reported by the publication Ukrainian Pravda.

Thus, according to the publication, a closed meeting was recently held in the Verkhovna Rada, to which the leaders of the parliament and factions invited the command of the Defense Forces to understand the real state of affairs in the war against the aggressor country, the russian federation.

"At first, the representatives of the General Staff talked a lot, confusingly, but very interestingly. Then there were various other reports. But the most memorable was Budanov's answer. Someone asked him how much time we still had. And Kyrylo, with his cold smile, said: "If there are no serious negotiations by the summer, then very dangerous processes for the very existence of Ukraine may begin. Everyone looked at each other and fell silent. Apparently, everything needs to work out," one of the participants said about this meeting.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed hope that Ukraine, the United States, European countries and russia would participate in the upcoming peace talks.

Recently, Reuters reported that russian dictator vladimir putin is allegedly ready for negotiations with US President Donald Trump on Ukraine, as well as on nuclear disarmament. Currently, the Kremlin is "waiting for signals" from the United States.
