The losses of the personnel of the russian troops for January 23 increased by 1,500 to 826,820 people, and the Ukrainian defenders destroyed 11 armored combat vehicles, 39 artillery systems and 51 drones over the past day.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 24.01.25 are approximately:

• personnel - about 826,820 (+1,500) people eliminated;
• tanks - 9,852 (+2) units;
• armored combat vehicles - 20,508 (+11) units;
• artillery systems - 22,295 (+39) units;
• MLRS - 1,263 (+1) units;
• air defense systems - 1,050 units;
• aircraft - 369 units;
• helicopters - 331 units;
• operational-tactical level UAVs - 23,162 (+51) units;
• cruise missiles - 3,051 units;
• ships/boats - 28 units;
• submarines - 1 unit;
• motor vehicles and fuel tanks - 34,992 (+87) units;
• special equipment - 3,715 (+1) units.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the losses of russian troops on January 22 increased by 1,340 to 825,320 people, equipment - by 12 armored vehicles and 62 artillery systems.
