I am being threatened with murder - daughter of Iryna Farion
The daughter of murdered Lviv Polytechnic professor Iryna Farion, Sofia Osoba, stated that she is being threatened with murder.
She said this on the air of the Lviv NTA TV channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"I am receiving threats, in those threats they mention my children. They threaten to kill and send me away the way Iryna Farion was brutally murdered," the daughter stated.
She believes that such threats are unacceptable in Ukraine and those who make such threats should be punished.
"It is very important to report this now, because my mother reported the threats to her at one time, but there was no reaction," Sofia emphasized.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Farion's daughter demands that the rector of Lviv Polytechnic be punished for the illegal dismissal of her mother. Farion's grandchildren were given security after the opening of a street in her honor near Lviv Polytechnic. Farion's daughter said that she and her children began to be threatened after the opening of a street in her mother's honor near Lviv Polytechnic. The rector of Lviv Polytechnic, Yurii Bobalo, reacted to the renaming of Tekhnichna Street to Iryna Farion Street. He believes that before opening the street, it was necessary to ask the opinion of the people who live there.
