Russian missiles hit 2 critical infrastructure facilities in Lviv Region - regional administration
On Wednesday morning, russians attacked the Lviv Region with cruise missiles, hitting 2 critical infrastructure facilities in Drohobych and Stryi districts.
This was announced by the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The head of the Regional Military Administration said that during the night air alert, which lasted from 01:35 a.m. to 02:48 a.m., an enemy drone flew into the territory of the Lviv Region.
The Ukrainian military managed to destroy it.
There were no casualties or damage.
"There was a hit on two critical infrastructure facilities in Drohobych and Stryi districts. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but there was damage," Kozytskyi wrote.
He noted that the region's life support systems are operating normally, and no power outages are currently being introduced.
He also reported that 2 residential buildings and 2 outbuildings were damaged due to the fall of a missile in the village of Sknyliv, Zolochivskyi district.
A crater formed near one of the houses, measuring 6 by 5 meters in diameter and about 2.5 meters deep.
There were no victims or casualties.
In addition, in one of the villages of Stryiskyi district, missile fragments and 1 unexploded missile were found in a field.
Explosives technicians went to the scene.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on Wednesday, January 15, russian occupation forces carried out another combined strike on Ukraine, using more than 40 missiles and more than 70 strike drones. The enemy's target was gas infrastructure and energy facilities.
