Military LGBT+ Association head suggests that Mariana Bezuhla get acquainted with same-sex couples from among
The head of the Military LGBT+ Association, a former serviceman of the 72nd Brigade named after the Black Zaporozhians Viktor Pylypenko has reacted to the statement of the Member of Parliament Mariana Bezuhla, in which she called representatives of the LGBT community people with "psychological deviations", and suggested that the MP be introduced to such couples who are currently defending Ukraine. Pylypenko published the corresponding post on his Facebook page.
"Mariana Bezuhla decided to devalue the deaths of a number of defenders, the Statutes that correspond to science and our secular Constitution and do not contain discrimination; science that does not consider homosexuality a "disease"," Pylypenko noted.
The head of the Military LGBT+ Association suggested meeting the MP in person and introducing her to the couples of Ukrainian defenders, whom Bezuhla called "sick".
"I would like to discuss all these issues with her personally, during a peaceful conversation. To introduce her to our community, to the couples of our military. As a parliamentarian, Ms. Mariana must understand that her words have high requirements of responsibility and affect the lives and destinies of our compatriots. Currently, her words are driving our destinies into a state of humiliation and lawlessness. Comparing healthy people without equal rights with a disease is an extreme disrespect for all of us," Pylypenko emphasized.
As previously reported, Member of Parliament of Ukraine Mariana Bezuhla (the Servant of the People faction) stated that she likes the trend of moving away from the principle of equality and quotas for certain groups of the population, which, in her opinion, make "deviations" the "norm." She cited overweight people and members of the LGBT community as examples.
