Fire at oil depot in Engels, russia, continues to rage for 4th day after drone attack
An oil depot in Engels, russia, has been burning for the fourth day. It was attacked by Ukrainian defenders.
This was reported by the governor of the Saratov Oblast, Roman Busargin, on the Telegram.
The russian official points out that an "industrial enterprise" is burning, not an oil depot at the Engels-2 military airfield.
According to him, the area of the fire has allegedly decreased by 80% and the smoke has decreased.
"The process of fuel burning continues, specialists are taking all necessary measures. Experts from Rospotrebnadzor continue to monitor the air condition on a permanent basis," he wrote.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, explosions were heard in Engels, Saratov Oblast, on the night of January 8. The russians immediately announced a drone attack.
