3 Iskander missiles shot down, with which russians wanted to attack Kryvyi Rih — Air Forces

Air defense systems of the Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down three Iskander-K cruise missiles in the sky over the Dnipropetrovsk Region.

The East Air Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported this.

According to the military, today, January 9, at about 2:10 p.m., the army of the aggressor country russia launched three Iskander-K missiles in the direction of Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk Region.

All three missiles were successfully intercepted and did not reach their targets.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of January 8-9, the occupiers launched 70 drones over Ukraine, including strike Shaheds and simulator drones. The Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to shoot down 46 russian drones.

Recall that, the day before, the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that during 2024, the Ukrainian military shot down 1,300 missiles and almost 15,000 drones of the occupiers.
