Trump wants to end russia's war against Ukraine in 100 days

The future special representative of the U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on Ukraine and russia, Keith Kellogg, said that within 100 days after the inauguration he will try to find a fair and reliable solution to end the war of the aggressor country russia against Ukraine.

Kellogg said this in an interview with the Fox News channel.

The special representative noted that Trump wants to end russia's war against Ukraine as quickly as he can. According to him, the U.S. President-elect has also talked about this with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, so this is his belief and goal.

"We will create conditions for the president, and ultimately he will be able to talk to President Putin, as well as President Zelenskyy. I think they will come to an acceptable solution in the near future. And when I say about the short-term perspective - I would like to set a goal on a personal, professional level. I would say, let's set 100 days," Kellogg emphasized.

In addition, the special representative emphasized that Trump will not offer anything to putin or the russians, but will really try to save Ukrainian sovereignty, and will do it fairly and honestly. Trump knows how to talk and negotiate with people, both allies and adversaries, and knows that negotiations are needed to achieve results, Kellogg noted. In his opinion, a firm and reliable solution will be found, which will also be done for the national security and interests of the United States, as well as for Europe.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on December 9, Trump confirmed that he had spoken with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy about the possibility of ending the war.

On December 18, Kellogg said that the Ukrainian and russian sides are ready to hold talks.

On January 5, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that negotiations on ending the war between the aggressor country russia and Ukraine should begin with U.S. President Donald Trump and European leaders.
