Belarus claims that Lukashenko did not apologize to Zelenskyy
The press secretary of the self-proclaimed President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, Natalia Eismont, claims that he did not apologize to Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the first days of the full-scale invasion.
The comment by the representative of the self-proclaimed Belarusian leader was spread by the propaganda publication RBC.
"The president of Belarus did not apologize to Zelenskyy for the simple reason that we have nothing to apologize for," she said.
The press secretary claims that the conversation between Zelenskyy and Lukashenko really took place. Alexander Lukashenko agreed to it allegedly because of the "emotional reaction" of Lukashenko's youngest son, Nikolai. He had Zelenskyy's contact, and he persuaded his father to call.
It is claimed that Lukashenko allegedly persuaded Zelenskyy to start negotiations with russia and hinted at great casualties among Ukrainians.
Recall, during the recording of the podcast by Lex Fridman, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that in the first days of the full-scale invasion, Alexander Lukashenko called him and apologized for the attack. The self-proclaimed leader of Belarus insisted that it was russia that was attacking Ukraine from the territory of Belarus, and that Belarusians had nothing to do with it. He also allegedly suggested striking the oil refinery "in response."
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Zelenskyy also said that negotiations on ending the war between russia and Ukraine should begin with US President Donald Trump and European leaders, and only then with russian president vladimir putin.
In addition, Zelenskyy believes that russian dictator vladimir putin does not like russians, otherwise he would not send them to wars of aggression in other states. The russians also engaged in the enslavement and destruction of peoples inside russia in order to erase their identity.
