168 combat clashes take place on front during day, 40 of them on Pokrovsk axis
On December 30, 168 combat clashes took place on the front, the hottest axis was the Pokrovsk axis, where 40 clashes took place during the day, the enemy also actively attacked on the Lyman (22) and Kurakhove (21) axes.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy launched one missile strike on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, carried out almost 4,500 attacks, 198 of them from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 1,864 kamikaze drones for destruction.
On December 30, 168 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded on the front.
Thus, on the Kharkiv axis, two enemy attacks were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk and Lyptsi.
On the Kupiansk axis, 16 attacks by the invaders took place during the day.
The defense forces repelled the enemy's assault actions near Holubivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Kruhliakivka and Zahryzove.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked 22 times, trying to advance near the settlements of Kopanky, Nadiia, Novoiehorivka, Makiivka, Ivanivka and Terny.
On the Siversk axis, the russians once tried to force the Ukrainian defenders out of positions near Bilohorivka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the invaders attacked 12 times in the areas of Chasiv Yar and Stupochky.
On the Toretsk axis, the enemy carried out 12 attacks near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.
On the Pokrovsk axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped 40 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Vozdvyzhenka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Zelene, Dachenske, Novyi Trud, Shevchenko, Vovkove, Novoolenivka and Novoyelyzavetivka.
On the Kurakhove axis, the Defense Forces repelled 21 attacks.
The enemy made the main efforts in the areas of Petropavlivka, Slovianka, Shevchenko and Kurakhove.
On the Vremivka axis, the enemy carried out 17 assaults on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Yantarne, Uspenivka, Vremivka and in the axis of Kostiantynopil and Novosilka.
On the Orikhiv axis, the occupiers tried to advance twice in the direction of Novoandriivka.
On the Dnieper axis, the russian invaders attacked Ukrainian positions three times.
They received a tough rebuff, suffered losses.
In the Kursk Oblast (russian federation), Ukrainian defenders repelled 17 attacks by the invading army.
Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces launched four strikes on areas of concentration of enemy personnel and military equipment, ammunition depots and six other important enemy facilities.
On December 30, the total losses of the russian invaders amounted to 1,610 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on December 29, 186 combat clashes with the russian occupiers took place, the largest number of which was in the Kursk Oblast of russia (46), where the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is ongoing, as well as on the Pokrovsk axis (43).
