In 2024, 500 air alerts sounded in Kyiv, during which the russian federation launched 200 air strikes on the city. And during the largest attack on the city, the enemy used 78 means of destruction at the same time.

This was reported by Serhii Popko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.

According to Serhii Popko, the fact that the capital is no longer included in the list of territories of possible hostilities, the war continues to "remind" of itself every day.

Thus, in particular, in 2024, 500 air alerts sounded in Kyiv, and during 200 of them, the russian armed forces launched almost 200 air strikes. In total, the russian federation used more than 1,600 means of destruction of various types against peaceful Kyiv:

more than 1,300 UAVs;

over 200 cruise missiles (Kh-101/Kh-59/Kh-69/Iskander-K/Kalibr);

24 ballistic missiles (Iskander-M/KN-23);

22 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles;

7 Zircon hypersonic missiles.

The most massive attack on Kyiv was a combined strike, during which the enemy used 78 means of destruction simultaneously, of which 49 were Kh-101 missiles and 10 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles. In total, in 2024, the capital withstood 6 massive and 14 combined air strikes.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the russian federation is accumulating drones and missiles for strikes on the territory of Ukraine, and the decrease in the number of strikes is not a sign of a shortage of missiles or drones in the aggressor country of the russian federation.

On Christmas Day, December 25, the aggressor country of the russian federation launched more than 70 missiles and 100 drones on Ukraine. More than 50 missiles and a significant portion of drones were shot down.
