Russia attacks Kharkiv with missiles. Fires occur in city, injured reported

On the morning of Wednesday, December 25, russian troops launched a massive missile strike on Kharkiv. A series of explosions were heard, there are injured.

This was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.

"The russian army launched at least seven strikes. Kharkiv and the region - stay in shelters!" Syniehubov wrote.

According to him, several fires broke out after the russian strikes, there is damage to civilian non-residential infrastructure. A 39-year-old civilian was injured, he was hospitalized.

The mayor of the city, Ihor Terekhov, reported on Telegram that two more wounded are in serious condition in the same Saltivskyi district.

"We have hits in the Kyivskyi district. There is a fire at the place of hit, the glazing of surrounding buildings is damaged. Information about the hits is still being clarified," the mayor added.

Later, Syniehubov clarified that two wounded men were known. The victims received shrapnel injuries and were taken to the hospital.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on Wednesday morning, December 25, measures were introduced to limit electricity consumption due to russia's massive missile attack on the territory of Ukraine.
