Power outages in Iran could last days or weeks - NYT
A power crisis in Iran has led to widespread power outages, state institutions are suspending work, and schools are closing.

In Iran, power infrastructure failures and gas pipeline undermining have led to widespread power outages. Previously, outages lasted several hours a day. Now they are increasing to several days.
Schools, universities, banks, and government agencies are closing. Classes are being moved online. Government agencies are working on reduced hours.
And Iran’s state-owned energy company, Tavanir, has warned businesses that they need to prepare for massive power outages that could last several days or weeks. This has led to the shutdown of both state and private businesses. This, in turn, will lead to significant losses.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Israel Defense Forces is preparing to strike Iran's nuclear program facilities. The Israeli army command considers the fall of the regime of Syrian dictator Bashar Assad and the weakening of pro-Iranian groups in the Middle East as a favorable opportunity to carry out this task.
