SSU is behind liquidation in Moscow of head of radiation and chemical protection troops of russia Kirillov - sources

The night undermining of the head of the radiation, chemical and biological protection troops of the russian armed forces, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, is a special operation by the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU).

This was reported to Ukrainian News Agency by sources in the SSU.

According to our sources, the scooter with explosives was detonated when Kirillov and his assistant entered the entrance of a house on Ryazansky Avenue in Moscow.

Both were killed.

"Kirillov was a war criminal and an absolutely legitimate target, since he gave orders to use prohibited chemical weapons against the Ukrainian military. Such an inglorious end awaits everyone who kills Ukrainians. Retribution for war crimes is inevitable," a source in the SSU said.

Recall that earlier the Security Service of Ukraine announced suspicion of Kirillov for the mass use of prohibited chemical weapons against the Defense Forces in the east and south of Ukraine.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the SSU exposed agents of the russian FSB who were preparing the assassination of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Among them were two colonels of the State Security Department. They were also preparing the assassination of other representatives of the state's top military and political leadership.
