Invaders capture one settlement and advanced near eight more. DeepState shows updated map
The Ukrainian analytical project DeepState claims that the russian invaders allegedly managed to capture one settlement and advance near eight more. The enemy's successes were recorded on three front sectors in the Donetsk Region.
This is evidenced by the update of the interactive combat map maintained by DeepState.
The russians advanced the most in the Kurakhove Axis. They also managed to take a number of positions in front sectors near Pokrovsk and Velyka Novosilka.
Pokrovsk Axis
According to DeepState, russian troops expanded control in the Shevchenko settlement, and also took several positions near the village of Pishchane.
Kurakhove Axis
OSINT analysts claim that the invaders advanced in the central part of Kurakhove and advanced on the southern outskirts of the city.
A difficult situation is developing a few kilometers south of Kurakhove. Here, the russians are said to have occupied Hannivka, and have also advanced near the settlements of Dalne, Uspenivka, Trudove, and Kostiantynopolske.
Vremivka Axis
South of Velyka Novosilka, russian troops managed to cross the Mokri Yaly River and occupy a number of positions on its other bank.
According to the DeepState map, a so-called "gray zone" has formed between units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the villages of Makarivka and Storozheve.
As of now, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have neither denied nor confirmed the information published by OSINT analysts.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on December 16, the US Department of Defense confirmed the first losses among the North Korean military, who, together with the russians, are trying to oust the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the territory of the Kursk Oblast.
We also wrote that in Kurakhove, the russians are changing into civilian clothes in order to seize administrative and industrial buildings inside the city under the guise of civilians.
