Cabinet approves terms of sale of one of largest factories in Europe for production of engine sleeves

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the terms of sale of a 100% state stake in the authorized capital of the Motordetal-Konotop limited liability company (Konotop, Sumy Region) at an electronic auction.

The representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

The report states that the funds received from the sale of the state stake in the authorized capital of LLC Motordetal-Konotop are credited to the state budget and directed to the fund for the liquidation of the consequences of armed aggression.

The privatization will take place through an online auction in the Prozorro.Sales electronic system, the starting price will be UAH 278.5 million.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the State Property Fund planned to put LLC Motordetal-Konotop up for sale.

Motordetal-Konotop is the only company in Eastern Europe that produces over 1,500 types of cylinder liners for internal combustion engines and exports its products to 35 countries around the world.

The production structure includes cast iron foundry, machining and auxiliary shops.

In 2023, the High Anti-Corruption Court decided to recover 100% of the authorized capital of LLC Motordetal-Konotop, which belonged to the senator of the Federation Council of russia, Sergey Kalashnikov.
