Second batch of F-16 fighters from Denmark already in Ukraine - Zelenskyy

Ukraine has received the second batch of F-16 fighters from Denmark.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this on his Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports

"The second batch of F-16s for Ukraine from Denmark is already in Ukraine. This is leadership in protecting life, which distinguishes Denmark," the head of state wrote.

He noted that the aircraft from the first batch provided by the Danes are already shooting down russian missiles, saving Ukrainian people and infrastructure.

"Now our air shield has been further strengthened. If all partners were just as determined, we would have already managed to make Russian terror impossible. Mette (Frederiksen), thank you, your team and all the Danish people!" the President added.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in late November, Zelenskyy said that during the latest massive missile attack, F-16 aircraft destroyed seven cruise missiles with which russia attacked Ukrainian infrastructure.
