Zelenskyy dismisses Presidential Representative in Crimea Tasheva

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has dismissed Tamila Tasheva from the position of Permanent Representative of the President in Crimea annexed by russia.

This is stated in Decree No. 800 of December 4, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The decree notes that Tasheva was dismissed in accordance with her application.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 25, the Central Election Commission recognized Tamila Tasheva, the Presidential Representative in Crimea, as an elected member of the Verkhovna Rada from the Holos party in the early parliamentary elections of July 21, 2019, included in the party's electoral list under No. 26, instead of the deceased Oleh Makarov. In October, Oleh Makarov, a member of the Verkhovna Rada from the Holos faction, died.

Zelenskyy appointed Tamila Tasheva as the permanent representative of the President in the russian-annexed Crimea on April 25, 2022, dismissing Anton Korynevych from this position.

Tasheva has held the position of deputy representative of the President in Crimea since October 2019, she is a co-founder of the public organization KrymSOS. Previously, she was a PR manager for the musical band Tik and an assistant to former President Petro Poroshenko's plenipotentiary for the Crimean Tatar people, Mustafa Dzhemilev.
