Hryvnia exchange rate in 2025 state budget set at 45 UAH/USD

The hryvnia exchange rate in the 2025 state budget is set at 45 UAH/USD.

This is evidenced by data from the Ministry of Finance, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

This year, the hryvnia exchange rate to the dollar in the state budget, on average for the period (assumed), is set at 40.8 UAH/USD.

At the same time, as of November 20, the official hryvnia exchange rate is almost 41.4 UAH/USD, and the cash exchange rate is over 41.6 UAH/USD.

In 2023, this indicator was 36.6 UAH/USD and in fact the rate remained at this level, since it was fixed.

Besides, inflation next year is forecast at 9.5% (December to December, in 2024 – 7.9%), GDP growth is expected to be lower next year than this year - 2.7% versus 3.5%.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on November 19, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the state budget of Ukraine for 2025.
