People evacuated from Kupyansk, Kivsharivka and Kurylivka with help of armored vehicles
In the Kharkiv Region, people were evacuated from the village of Kurylivka, the village of Kivsharivka, and the town of Kupyansk, the State Emergency Service reported.
"The evacuation of residents of front-line settlements continues in the Kupyansk area. This weekend, rescuers evacuated people from the village of Kurylivka, the village of Kivsharivka and the town of Kupyansk, using armored vehicles," the State Emergency Service reports.
According to rescuers, residents are leaving the towns and villages of Kupyansk, Kindrashivka, Kurylivka and Petropavlovsk communities.
"Mostly elderly people and persons with disabilities needed help. People forced to leave their homes due to active hostilities are primarily sent to intermediate evacuation points," the department emphasized.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, 8,000 residents are subject to evacuation in the Kupyansk Axis in the Kharkiv Region.
Earlier, Syniehubov said that evacuation from the Kupyansk area is becoming more difficult in the Kharkiv Region because russian troops are attacking crossings across the Oskil River.
In addition, the occupiers came close to Kupyansk to the distance of a shot from any type of weapons.
