Sweden states that election of Trump carries number of risks for Ukraine and Europe
The Prime Minister of Sweden, Ulf Kristersson, said that the election of Donald Trump as the President of the United States carries risks for Ukraine in terms of continuing military aid.

According to SVT, Kristersson congratulated Trump on his victory in the presidential race. At the same time, he drew attention to the fact that this development of events in the USA harbors a number of threats.
"I would like to say that there are a number of rather disturbing trends in American politics right now <...> The harsh and polarizing tone of the debate, the tendency for culture wars to prevail over political issues. I think this is a dangerous development," Kristersson said.
He also believes that the election of Trump as President may lead to a decrease in US obligations to Ukraine, in particular, in the issue of military aid.
Kristersson added that he would not like to rush to conclusions about Trump's victory in the US election. According to him, Sweden and other European countries prepared for various scenarios and prepared well for various developments.
