3 Ukrainians fought on russian side in Kursk Oblast, but were captured – SSU

Three citizens of Ukraine as part of the russian army tried to stop the operation of the Defense Forces in the Kursk Oblast, but were captured

It was reported by the SSU press service.

They were part of the 810th separate marine brigade of the russian federation. In August and September of this year, they shelled the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of Sudzha.

"They were taken prisoner together with other surviving occupiers after the assault units of the Ukrainian troops, supported by artillery, completely destroyed the enemy column near the city," the message reads.

Among those detained is a traitor from Crimea, who in November 2022 "mobilized" to the occupation groups of the Southern Military District of the aggressor country.

Another traitor is a resident of the temporarily occupied part of the territory of the Luhansk Region, from where he fled to the russian federation, and in one of the moscow military commissars concluded a contract with the Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country.

The third figure is a resident of the Chernihiv Region, who after the start of the full-scale war left for Bryansk, where he received a russian passport and voluntarily "enrolled" in the ranks of the occupiers.

The SSU investigators informed the detainees about the suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed under martial law). The perpetrators are in custody. They face life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
