145 combat clashes take place on front during day, most – on Kurakhove axis – General Staff
On October 30, 145 combat clashes took place on the front, the hottest axis was Kurakhove, where 41 clashes took place in a day, the situation also remains tense on the Pokrovsk axis, where Ukrainian defenders stopped 28 enemy attacks.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched two missile strikes against the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements using 11 missiles, as well as 83 airstrikes, including dropping 146 guided air bombs.
In addition, the enemy carried out 5,049 attacks, 137 of them from MLRS, and also used 1,618 kamikaze drones to destroy them.
On October 31, 145 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded at the front.
On the Kharkiv axis, the enemy, using aviation, attacked once near Vovchansk.
On the Kupiansk axis, 21 attacks by the occupiers took place during the day.
The defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Synkivka, Novoosynove, Kolisnykivka, Pershotravneve, Pishchane, Kruhliakivka, Zelenyi Hai, Vyshneve, Bohuslavka, Petropavlivka, Lozova, Kindrashivka, and Zahryzove.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked 11 times, trying to advance towards Katerynivka, Hrekivka, Terny, Zarichne, Druzheliubivka, and in the Serebrianske Forestry.
On the Siversk axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled two assaults by russian invaders near Verkhniokamianske and Bilohorivka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the russians attacked once in the area of Chasiv Yar.
The situation remains tense in the area of Pokrovsk, where Ukrainian defenders stopped 28 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor towards the settlements of Myroliubivka, Promin, Myrnohrad, Lysivka, Sukhyi Yar, Novohrodivka, Vyshneve, Krutyi Yar and Selydove.
On the Kurakhove axis, the Defense Forces repelled 41 attacks on Ukrainian positions near Novoselydivka, Novodmytrivka, Illinka, Maksymilianivka, Hostre, Yelyzavetivka, Dalne, Antonivka, Kurakhivka, Kreminna Balka, Voznesenka, and Katerynivka.
On the Vremivka axis, the enemy carried out eight assaults on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Bohoiavlenka, Maksymivka, Trudove, and Novoukrainka.
It actively used attack and bomber aircraft for strikes on the axis.
On the Huliaipole axis, the enemy made one futile attempt to push the Ukrainian defenders from the occupied lines near the settlement of Charivne.
In the Dnieper axis, the operational situation has not changed significantly.
The invaders conducted four unsuccessful assaults here.
The enemy did not carry out assault operations on the Orikhiv and Toretsk axes, but attacked settlements with assault and bombing aircraft.
An operation is ongoing in the Kursk Oblast, where over the past day, the russians have struck 19 strikes with 20 guided aerial bombs, and carried out 133 artillery strikes on the territory of the russian federation.
Ukrainian soldiers inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying forces.
Over the past day, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit one control post, two air defense systems, one gun in a firing position, two field ammunition depots, three areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment, as well as four radar stations of the russian occupiers.
In total, the losses of the russian invaders on October 31 amounted to 1,310 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on October 29, 175 combat clashes took place at the front, most of them on the Pokrovsk (43 clashes) and Kurakhove (42) axes.
