On October 27, Telegram channels shared a video about the killing of civilians by the occupiers in Selydove. The footage shows how representatives of the russian military allegedly shot a civilian car in the village with automatic weapons.

"At the time of the attack, two citizens were in the cabin, one of whom was wounded. After that, the military of the Ukrainian Armed Forces arrived at the scene and, pulling the victim out of the line of fire, provided them with first aid and evacuated civilians from under fire," the prosecutor's office confirmed.

Preliminarily, the incident occurred on October 24, 2024. On the same day, the russians shot two women in Selydove.

According to law enforcement officers, the bodies of killed civilians are found in the area of ​​the private sector, which was practically unaffected by active hostilities.

Both events happened after the russians took control of these areas of the city.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the russian occupation troops on the Pokrovsk axis (Donetsk Region) were able to enter the territory of the town of Selydove. Currently, fighting is likely to continue in its central part.
