187 combat clashes take place at front on October 2, of which 55 on Pokrovsk axis - General Staff
On October 24, 187 combat clashes took place at the front, most of them ion the Pokrovsk (55 clashes), Lyman (23) and Kurakhove (20) axes.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy launched one missile strike against the positions of Ukrainian units and population centers using two missiles, as well as 85 airstrikes, in particular, dropped 153 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, the enemy launched more than 4,000 attacks, 130 of them from multiple launch rocket systems, and engaged about 1,500 kamikaze drones for destruction.
On October 24, 187 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded at the front.
Thus, on the Kharkiv axis, the enemy stormed eight times near the settlements of Vovchansk and Starytsia.
On the Kupiansk axis, there were 14 attacks by invaders during the day.
Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Holubivka, Pishchane, Lozova, Kruhliakivka, Novoosynove, Kolisnykivka, and Vyshneve.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked 23 times, trying to penetrate the Ukrainian defenses near the settlements of Druzheliubivka, Katerynivka, Hrekivka, Tverdokhlibove, Terny, Zarichne, Torske, and Serebranka.
On the Siversk axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled one assault by russian invaders near Vyimka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the occupiers attacked twice in the areas of Chasiv Yar and Predtechyne.
On the Pokrovsk axis, the Defense Forces stopped 55 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of Myroliubivka, Krutyi Yar, Novotoretske, Lysivka, Krasnyi Yar, Mykolaivka, Sukhyi Yar and Mykhailivka.
The main efforts of enemy attacks were concentrated in the direction of Selydove and Promin settlements.
On the Kurakhove axis, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 20 attacks.
The occupiers most actively tried to advance near Novodmytrivka, Zoriane, Kreminna Balka, Novomykolaivka, Maksymilianivka, Antonivka, Katerynivka, Kostiantynivka, Novoselydivka, and Hostre.
On the Vremivka axis, the enemy carried out eight assaults on Ukrainian positions in the Bohoiavlenka and Novoukrainka districts.
It actively engaged bomber aircraft for strikes on the axis.
With the support of aviation on the Orikhiv axis, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders near Novodanylivka and Novoandriivka four times last day.
On the Dnieper axis, the russians tried three times to no avail to dislodge units of the Defense Forces from their positions.
The operation is ongoing in the Kursk Oblast.
Over the past day, russian planes have carried out 23 airstrikes here, and the enemy's artillery has fired more than a hundred rounds.
Ukrainian soldiers inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and actively undermine the offensive potential of the enemy in the rear.
Over the past day, aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces hit one UAV control point, a warehouse with ammunition, four personnel concentration areas, an air defense unit, four artillery systems of the enemy and another important object of the occupiers.
In total, on October 24, the losses of the russian invaders amounted to 1,630 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on October 23, 148 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest axis was Pokrovsk, where 38 clashes took place during the day.
