Russian army actively advancing on 2 axes. General Staff names hottest spots on front

On October 22, 166 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest axes were Pokrovsk, where 56 clashes took place during the day, and Kurakhove – 47 clashes.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

It is noted that last day the enemy launched one missile strike against the positions of Ukrainian units and population centers using one missile, as well as 104 airstrikes, dropping 165 anti-aircraft missiles.

In addition, the enemy launched more than 4,500 attacks, 149 of them from multiple launch rocket systems.

On October 22, 166 combat clashes with the russian invaders were recorded at the front.

Thus, on the Kharkiv axis, there were 5 combat clashes in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk and Starytsia.

13 attacks near Holubivka, Pishchane, Petropavlivka, Kolisnykivka and Lozova were repulsed on the Kupiansk axis.

On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked 14 times near Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Terny and Torske.

On the Kramatorsk axis, Ukrainian soldiers repelled an attempt by the invaders to advance towards the settlement of Bondarne.

On the Pokrovsk axis, 56 attacks were repulsed in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, and Selydove settlements; the greatest concentration of enemy attacks was near Selydove.

On the Kurakhove axis, the Defense Forces repelled 47 attacks near Hirnyk, Novodmytrivka, Hostre, Katerynivka, and Antonivka.

On the Vremivka axis, last day, the aggressor attacked 10 times in the direction of Bohoiavlenka and Velyka Novosilka.

On the Orikhiv axis, one combat clash took place in the Robotyne district.

On the Dnieper axis, 4 russian attacks were repelled in the island zone of the Dnieper delta.

At the same time, Ukrainian soldiers are actively inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces.

On October 22, aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces carried out four strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and anti-aircraft defenses of the enemy, and also hit three control points of UAVs, five artillery systems and two air defense vehicles.

In total, the russian invaders lost 1,460 people last day.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on October 21, 134 combat clashes took place on the front, the hottest axis was Pokrovsk, where 46 clashes took place during the day, intense fighting also took place on the Kurakhove axis.
