Both Trump and Harris will be able to do "something" about war in Ukraine immediately after election - Zelenskyy
Whoever wins the presidential election in the USA, will take certain steps regarding the russian-Ukrainian war even before January - before the official inauguration.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a conversation with journalists, European Pravda writes.
The President believes that the readiness of the russians for negotiations depends on the election in the United States.
"I think they will be watching the United States' policy on this issue. And the United States will demonstrate the policy very quickly, after the election, I think," he said.
According to Zelenskyy, based on the information he received at meetings with Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, "they will not wait until January."
"They will not be able to do something according to their powers, but they will be able to do something," the head of state said.
The President noted that the meetings with both Harris and Trump were good, but he would not compare them.
It will be recalled that earlier Harris called on Zelenskyy to identify a successor in case of assassination or capture.
