Trump secretly gave putin American tests for COVID-19 - media

In 2020, former US President Donald Trump allegedly gave russian dictator vladimir putin tests to detect COVID-19 because putin was "horrified" by the pandemic.

The Washington Post writes about this with reference to the book "War" by journalist Bob Woodward.

The author of the book claims that putin was "terrified of the virus", so Trump secretly sent him tests for the coronavirus. Putin allegedly accepted them, but demanded that Trump not tell anyone about this case.

"I don't want you to tell anyone, because people will be angry with you and not with me," putin allegedly said.

Steven Cheung, a spokesman for Donald Trump's campaign, called the story "fictitious" and said it was not true. He also criticized the entire book, saying it "should be on sale in the fiction section of a discount bookstore, or used as toilet paper."

It will be recalled that Trump declared that he has a good relationship with the russian dictator putin. Zelenskyy replied that he hoped that relations with him were still better [than with putin].

Trump also said that he does not consider his strategy to end the war, which was started by russia, to be a "surrender".
