Russia receiving Western components for missiles "in huge volumes" - Budanov

The aggressor country russia continues to steadily receive Western components for its missiles with which it fires at Ukraine.

The head of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov told about this in an interview with the Bloomberg agency.

According to him, the sale of Western technologies to russia continues, there are no changes in the flow of components to the aggressor. Budanov noted that the missiles produced with their help are not stored, but go directly to the units that bombard Ukraine with them.

“If you open up any of these missiles or drones, you’ll see for yourself that they are full of Western components. Companies can say that they’re not selling anything to Russia, that they’re just selling to some intermediaries. But it doesn’t change the fact that those parts are getting into Russia in huge volumes,” Budanov emphasized.

The head of the Defense Intelligence emphasized that the only way to block the kremlin's missile capabilities is to stop the flow of semiconductors to Russia, but that has not happened: "Everyone is turning their eyes away from what is happening," Budanov said.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on August 20, the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the russian occupiers have used more than 9,600 missiles and almost 14,000 combat drones to attack Ukraine.

On September 15, the head of the Defense Intelligence Kyrylo Budanov said that the aggressor country russia wants to end the war against Ukraine by the end of 2025 - the beginning of 2026 with its victory.

On September 24, the adviser to the President of Ukraine, Vladyslav Vlasiuk, stated that about 60% of the imported components found in russian weapons on the battlefield in Ukraine come through China.
