Russia loses 1,200 soldiers, 18 armored vehicles, and 27 artillery systems on August 28

Losses of personnel of the russian troops on August 28 increased by 1,200 to 612,390 people, and Ukrainian defenders of the past day also destroyed 3 tanks, 18 armored combat vehicles, and 27 artillery systems.

This follows from a statement by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

So, the enemy lost 3 tanks (total – 8,571), 18 armored combat vehicles (total – 16,699), 27 artillery systems (total – 17,549), 1 anti-aircraft vehicle (total – 939), 52 units of automobile equipment and tanker trucks during the day (total - 23,706), 15 units of special equipment (total - 2,965), 21 drones (total - 14,369), and 3 cruise missiles (total - 2,556).

Since the start of the war, the enemy has also lost 1,174 jet artillery units, 368 aircraft, 328 helicopters, 28 ships/boats, and 1 submarine.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the losses of personnel of the russian troops on August 27 increased by 1,090 to 611,190 people, equipment - by 1 plane, 27 artillery systems, and 94 drones.
