It will be difficult for russia to ignore peace plan supported by 100 countries - Yermak

It will be difficult for the aggressor country russia to ignore a peace plan supported by more than 100 countries.

The head of the Office of the President, Andrii Yermak, said this on the air of the telethon, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"When this plan is supported by 100 or more countries, this is already a very serious argument. And therefore, when they ask, what if Russia does not accept this document, and you don't have to think about it, will Russia accept or not. Russia is an aggressor country, this is the country that started this war. One has to wonder if there can be a different reaction when a plan is proposed under which there will be signatures of 100 countries. And it will be very good if these countries include such powerful players as India, China, Saudi Arabia, Brazil. Will it be possible to ignore the plan under which there are the signatures of 100 countries and even more? This will be more than half of the UN countries. This cannot be ignored. And to say today that we do not accept it, we do not agree with it, if it is supported by the countries on which Russia depends today, it will be very difficult," he said.

Yermak noted that the process of thematic conferences on the preparation of a joint peace plan of the responsible countries of the world regarding the implementation of Volodymyr Zelenskyy's Peace Formula began yesterday, and powerful work is currently underway to make as many of them as possible.

The head of the Office also emphasized that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who visited Ukraine on Friday, clearly said that India would not support any proposals that would involve any compromises on territorial integrity.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in June President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the plan to end the war will be ready this year.
