Ukraine and Norway extend "transport visa-free" for another year
Ukraine and Norway have agreed to extend the "transport visa-free" for another year - until June 30, 2025.
The press service of the Ministry of Reconstruction of Ukraine has reported this.
"Until June 30, 2025, Ukrainian and Norwegian carriers will be able to carry out bilateral and transit transportation between our countries without additional permits. The latter not only simplifies the conditions for business, but also contributes to the development of the economies of both states," the message reads.
Visa-free applies to trucks of the Euro-5 standard and above, but drivers must have an environmental certificate and an extract of the transport license with them.
"Transport visa-free" with Ukraine is already valid for 37 countries, including EU countries.
Recall that Ukraine and the EU have extended the "transport visa-free" for another year. During the year and a half of the relevant agreement, Ukraine exported 48% more goods to the EU than during the same period before its signing.
