This is stated in the information of the GTS Operator of Ukraine company, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

At the same time, as of Monday, August 12, the request of the russian federation for the transit of its gas amounted to 39.559 million cubic meters.

We would like to remind that the transit of russian gas through the Ukrainian gas transport system against the background of the announcement of the establishment of control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the Kursk gas station "Sudzha" on August 8, compared to August 7, decreased by 6% to 37.25 million cubic meters, which is the lowest transit indicator since May 1, 2023.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on August 7, russian mass media reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine control the Kursk gas measuring station Sudzha, through which russian gas transits to the EU.

Currently, "Sudzha" is the only point through which russian gas enters Ukraine for its transportation to European customers.
