Losses of personnel of the russian troops on August 18 increased by 1,120 to 598,180 people; Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 5 tanks, 15 armored fighting vehicles, 48 ​​artillery systems, and 55 drones.

This follows from a statement by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

Thus, the enemy lost 5 tanks (a total of 8,513), 15 armored fighting vehicles (a total of 16,495), 48 artillery systems (a total of 17,104), 2 anti-aircraft defenses (a total of 925), 4 rocket artillery units ( total - 1,165), 55 units of automobile equipment and tank trucks (total - 23,047), 17 units of special equipment (total - 2,863), 57 drones (total - 13,809) and 5 cruise missiles (total - 2,437).

Since the beginning of the war, the enemy has also lost 367 aircraft, 328 helicopters, 28 ships/boats, and 1 submarine.
