Ukraine finishes its performance at Olympic Games in Paris with 12 medals
Ukraine has officially completed its performances at the XXXIII Olympic Games held in Paris (France). Ukrainian athletes managed to win 12 medals (3 gold, 5 silver, 4 bronze). Currently, Ukraine is in 22nd place in the overall team standings, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
So, gold medals were won by the women's sabre fencing team of Ukraine (Olha Kharlan, Olena Kravatska, Alina Komashchuk and Yuliia Bakastova), high jumper Yaroslava Mahuchikh and boxer Oleksandr Khyzhniak (weight category up to 80 kg).
Silver medals were won by shooter Serhii Kulish (rifle shooting from three positions, 50 m), gymnast Illia Kovtun (parallel bars), Greco-Roman wrestler Parviz Nasibov (weight category up to 67 kg), Anastasiia Rybachok and Liudmyla Luzan (canoe sprint, 500 m) and wrestler Iryna Koliadenko (weight category up to 62 kg).

Bronze medals were brought to Ukraine by sabre fencer Olha Kharlan, Iryna Herashchenko in high jump, hammer thrower Mykhailo Kohan, Greco-Roman wrestler Zhan Beleniuk (weight category up to 87 kg).
The next Summer Olympic Games will be held in July 2028 in Los Angeles (U.S.).
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the closing ceremony of the XXIII Olympic Games in Paris will begin at 10:00 p.m.
