Ukrzaliznytsia to sell tickets for number of international flights only after verification in Diia

Ukrzaliznytsia has extended verification through the Diia.Pidpys (Diia.Signature) to a number of international flights.

The press service of the Ukrzaliznytsia has announced this on Telegram.

From August 1, tickets for the following flights will be sold only after verification via Diia.Pidpys:

• No. 19/20 Kyiv - Chełm - Kyiv;
• No. 23/24 Kyiv - Chełm - Kyiv;
• No. 51/52 Kyiv - Przemyśl - Kyiv;
• No. 89/90 Kyiv - Przemyśl - Kyiv;
• No. 73/74 Kharkiv - Przemyśl - Kharkiv.

A similar verification is also applied to popular flights from and to Warsaw and Vienna.

"The decision is a temporary measure for the peak period of transportation in order to overcome the abnormal activity of resellers, because currently Ukrzaliznytsia specialists block up to 50 attempts to buy tickets in bulk per day. However, without verification through the Diia.Signatur, ticket speculators just need to change their phone number and continue own business," the message says.

At the same time, for foreigners who do not have the opportunity to install Diia, Ukrzaliznytsia leaves the current system of access to international tickets for at least one flight in each direction:

• Odesa - Przemyśl;
• Kharkiv - Chełm;
• Dnipro - Chełm;
• Kyiv - Przemyśl;
• Chop - Vienna;
• Mukachevo - Košice;
• Lviv - Warsaw;
• Kyiv - Chisinau.

Ukrzaliznytsia also reminded how many days before the flight you can buy tickets:

• Polish direction (Przemyśl, Dorohusk, Chełm, Warsaw) – 20 days before the date of shipment, sales start at 09:00 a.m.;
• Slovak and Austrian directions – 20 days, start at 08:00 a.m.;
• Moldovan direction – 30 days, start at 08:00 a.m.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, starting in August, Ukrzaliznytsia will increase the number of trains with women's compartments.
