Germany suggests when russia might attack NATO
Russia may attack the North Atlantic Alliance in 5-8 years, if it is able to accumulate the necessary number of weapons and soldiers.
This was stated by the Inspector General of the German Armed Forces, Carsten Breuer, in an interview with Tagesspiegel.
"We observe that the russian army is oriented towards the West... In five to eight years, Moscow's armed forces will be equipped with the material base and personnel to attack NATO territory," Breuer noted.
According to him, this assessment is based on the analysis of the general himself, intelligence data and information from Germany's allies. He also takes into account the statements of the russian dictator himself, who does not hide his imperial ambitions.
Breuer claims that the russian federation replenishes its reserves with 1,000-1,500 tanks every year. At the same time, some European countries do not have half of this amount of armored vehicles.
The general drew attention to the fact that if you add to such indicators the intentions that can be traced in putin's speeches, then "NATO countries should definitely be alarmed."
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in the peace plan developed by the ex-prime minister of Great Britain Boris Johnson, Ukraine is given the role of a force that would restrain the russian federation and take the place that the USA currently plays in Europe.
