Okhmatdyt announces tender for restoration of hospital after russian missile attack
The Okhmatdyt Charitable Foundation - Healthy Childhood charitable organization has announced a tender for the current (urgent) repair of the facade and internal equipment of the building of the Okhmatdyt National Children's Specialized Hospital, which was damaged on July 8 as a result of a russian missile attack.
This is stated in the message of Okhmatdyt, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"We are looking for reliable partners to perform construction and repair works in order to return our facility to normal functioning as soon as possible and make it even better," the message reads.
The project will be implemented according to the "design-build" model, which involves the execution of both design and construction works by one contractor.
The calendar schedule of works must be developed and submitted for approval within 10 working days from the moment of signing the contract.
It should provide that works on installation of windows, repair of the decoration of premises are performed in full within 45 calendar days from the date of signing the contract, facade works that do not affect the functioning of internal premises can be completed within 5 months.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Minister of Health Viktor Liashko noted that about Okhmatdyt requires UAH 400 million just to provide equipment.
On July 9, the Minister of Interior Affairs Ihor Klymenko announced that the emergency and rescue work on the territory of Okhmatdyt in Kyiv had been completed.
As a result of the russian attack on this facility, 2 people were killed, 32 wounded sought medical help, and 8 children were hospitalized with injuries.
One building of the hospital was completely destroyed, four were seriously damaged.
